You've found your source in Vancouver, B.C. for fast, quality headshots at a reasonable price. We understand that your headshot is your business card. You absolutely cannot do without. Our view is that $300 + for your first set of headshots is just not reasonable. In fact, in an industry that requires you to keep your image current, we get your frustration. Here's what we offer:

How do I pay? Please bring payment to your shoot. We accept a cheque payable to "Maki Hanawa" or cash.

Where do we shoot? We'll arrange a convenient location to meet. Some of our favorite places to shoot are Granville Island, Oakridge Mall, Yaletown, False Creek.

What should I wear? Wear what you love and feel great in. Avoid patterns and distracting jewelry.  Colors that complement your hair or complexion are excellent choices - go for contrast and make it interesting.  Dress in layers to give depth to your style. 

When can I see/have my photos? We understand clients are eager to see their images, so within 2 business days of your session, we will upload 4-6 of your best shots to a private link on our site. Your CD is available for pick up, or can be mailed to you, after 2 business days.

Can I get make-up/hair services? We encourage you to do your own. Bring a hairbrush and lipgloss.  If you would like your make-up professionally done, it can be arranged for an additional cost of $30. We will do our best to hook you up with a hair stylist. Please let us know when booking.

Do you retouch the photos? Yes.  Minor brightness/contrast adjustments and complexion corrections. Our philosophy is headshots should be natural looking. You will have the opportunity to request specific touchups. *Please note that we do alter how you physically ook, i.e. add missing teeth, change hair color, remove moles etc.

What if I want a re-shoot? Our work is guaranteed.  Once we email you the link to your proofs, you have a 3 day window opportunity to request a re-shoot. Re-shoots must be booked for a date within 1 month of your original shoot.

Will you use my images? Yes, your images will be used for promotional purposes on our website. We will not use your images for any other purposes.
